Do you offer 24/7 technical support?

At this time, we do not. Our support hours are 9 AM – 6 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. If your site is down over the weekend, please contact your webhost.

What can I ask for during my support time each month?

Our Site Care clients ask us to help with all sorts of techy tasks on their site, like:

  • Installing and configuring plugins;
  • Setting up Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, and Search Console;
  • Installing and configuring a pop-up, top-bar or other opt-in form;
  • Setting up Rich Pins or Facebook Pixels;
  • Configuring your site for SSL (may require purchasing SSL, depending on your host);
  • Tweaking your theme or site design;
  • Creating training videos on how to use WordPress or plugins, and more!
What if an update breaks my site? Does it cost extra to fix?

If an update breaks your site, the site is immediately rolled-back to the backup taken prior to performing the update. From there, you’ll be notified of the issue.

The majority of issues are addressed free as part of your Site Care plan, however, custom plugins, issues introduced by users, or especially time-consuming issues may be billable. We will notify you before charging anything to your account.

Can you restore the site from a backup site/roll a site back to yesterday’s version?

Provided that the backup is available, yes. While we’re happy to restore a site at no charge for any customer, continued usage of this feature may consume monthly development time (if available in your account), and/or incur additional fees.

What do you do if my website is hacked?

We continuously monitor our client sites with ongoing security scans by our partner, Sucuri Security. Common issues are also manually checked whenever relevant.

Unfortunately, even with regular monitoring, no one can catch every security issue. In the event a security issue does occur, our goal is to respond immediately within business hours.

Do you offer SEO services?

We do not provide custom search engine optimization services, but we do offer two things to help you refine your SEO efforts.:

  1. We can make recommendations for excellent SEO tools within WordPress–and help you install and set them up!
  2. As part of a site maintenance plan, we can track the ranking of keywords people are using to find your site and your competitors.
I need e-commerce set up on my site. Can you do that?

Yes, we can install and configure Shopify, WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads, all of which are great e-commerce options, depending on the type of store you need. Setting up e-commerce on your site cannot be accomplished during a typical Site Care support hour, and requires a custom quote.

Can I cancel or change my plan any time?

Site Care plans are auto-billed through PayPal monthly, and each payment covers the 30 days ahead. If your monthly “honey-do” list requires more time than your plan allows, we can include additional tasks on an hourly or per item basis, depending on what you need.

For maintenance, there are no contracts, and you can cancel, upgrade or downgrade your plan any time.

There will be a $25 processing fee for any returned payments.
